The Newcastle Business District and Historic Chatham Business District have joined forces to compliment existing events that take place in their respective Districts including the Rock ‘n Roll Festival and AFN’s Fisherman’s Powwow. The vision behind the initiative is to bring a variety of Canada Day event options to the entire community of Miramichi.

Newcastle Business District (Queen Elizabeth Park)
12 noon – 4 pm: Live music, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Jumping Castles, Balloon Artist, Face Painting
Historic Chatham Business District (Historic Water Street)
10 am: Opening Ceremonies with special guests (Waterford Green)
10 am – 4 pm: Vendors, Caricature Artists, Buskers, Dancers (Water St. & Waterford Green)
12 noon – 4 pm: Kids games, Balloon Artist, Face Painting, Jumping Castles, Dunk Tank, Chalk Art (Water St)
3 – 3:30 pm: Miramichi Police Dog Unit Demonstration
